Hehe.. I love this picture... Very cute :) I love the devil costme... Mind telling us what method you used to create the hair? It looks mapped on but I'm new at this stuff so I'm not so sure.

The one thing that jumps out at me to crit is the angel's bag; it doesn't look like it has any depth... it looks more like a plate than your typical trick or treat sack.

Other than that, this is something I'll probably put on my desktop around the end of the month.

Thanks folks.

I use hair plugin with hair chains for the hairdo. Attached is the pic of the hair chains. :)

Brilliant concept and style. Those two are too cute.
Only that purple makes the color scheme somehow explode - it's just too much. But expcept for the color I love the hand - funny detail.

I love the style, there's something that draws me here but I can't quite put my finger on it, maybe it's the illustrative style? I dunno, but I know I like it, love the door and bolt texture, very nicely done. Would make a nice greeting card ;)

I love it when people deviate from the norm.

The expression on the devil girl's face is priceless.

The only thing that bothers me is the eyes of the angel girl as they seem to be pointing in different directions.

cheers.

I love it.

The creaky old door, the un-human hand, the skull and cross bones on the candy. It's like there's something menacing going on here, and the little devil kid knows it! At first I thought the angel kid was unaware of the danger, but I prefer to think that she can see there really is no danger.

The image is excellent, and it has that quality that draws one in, and makes them think about what they're looking at.

Nice image indeed, I get the feeling that the kids are wearing the wrong clothes, the angel I see being the more devilish of the 2, I think it's the eyes that has given me this illusion...

 great to see you taken the devil child a step further

Wonderful. I like it. There are a couple of things i would add to it. Firstly, there are some elements, like the fork in the devil-girls hand, that could use a rim light to help pick them out and give depth right in that area. Maybe a light that only affects that prop would work, since you don't want to disturb the rest of the lighting.

The angel-girls eyes are probably just a couple of degrees out from straight for this given depth and angle. A little cross-eyed is ok when the subject matter is close. For that matter you could ease in the right eye and leave the other alone.

Finally, it's nice to see that Sully is picking up some work out there :-) been worried about him.

Great stuff...cute....nice concept.

Was this made recently just as a still for the fun of it, inspired by the season? I could see it as a animated Halloween special in the works. ;)

Pretty neat. Did you just use the same little girl model twice and make slight texture chages, or are they actually different somehow?

First of all I use Lightwave. I started out with a box ( I seem to start everything with a box first ) and sub divided till I have enough poly for the shape yet keep the poly low. Use edge tools to cut the shapes of the eyes and mouth. duplicate it and flipped the poly and reduced the size. Lastly just create connect polys btw the 2 surfaces. I could use weighting to sharpen the edges of the eyes and mouth but I like the smooth look.
