Hi all, i would like to revive this thread with an amazing and very useful script from Oliver Nürnberger.

I find it very usefull, but unfortunately it does not work in 3ds max 2010 64bit that i am working with. Anyone knows how to adjust it?

What's the error message you get, seems to work here.

Yes,

It's a macroscript, that means running it will make an entry in the menu system, so go to shortcuts > categorie > blendermanScripts > UVW Random and assign it to a hotkey.

If you want to run the script not as a macro open it and put -- in front of "macroScript UVW_Ran... etc". Now it will popup the tool instantly upon run script.

i dont get any error messages. i select runscript command from the pull down maxscript menu and then i select the script file, and nothing happens... am i doing something wrong?
