I always tend to use a single light for lighting a scene which make things look plain and simple unless some indirect lighting is applied, but if not you get those really dark shadows or blown out areas. :sad:

I need some sort of software independent guide/tutorial that shows the how to's and the why's of the scene lighting process, things like three point lighting, studio lighting, day/night scenes and other helpful things.

So if anyone can link me to a guide(or book) that can help me in that area(not the technical things like ray tracing) i'll be grateful. :lightbulb :) :lightbulb
