Hi Everyone,
Im busy writing a batch submitter GUI for our render farm off site and have gotten stuck with one thing,
specifying the name of the output file and specifying the file type

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Softimage 2011 SP1\Application\bin\xsibatch" -output_dir C:\DEL\cam_l\ -render P:\Zam\Scenes\Sc_001\Scenes\001_002\Anim\001_002_AnimB.scn -w P:\Zam\Workgroup\zam_workgroup_2011_light -fname "C:\DEL\cam_l\001_002_AnimB_Default_Pass_<Layer>_L" -camera LeftCamera -frstart 61 -frend 138 -frstep 1 -fext ".exr" -verbose off -pass Default_Pass -skip on > c:\Del\log.log

I thought -fname should rename the output file but im not sure if i have it in the right place and -fext should change the extention but doesn't.

Any help would be awesome

Thanks
Simon

xsibatch doesn't support the -fname, -camera, -frstart, -frend, frstep, and -fext flags.
Run xsibatch -h to see the supported rendering flags.
You can use -script to run a script that sets the desired render options. They'll be set in the scene before it is rendered.

Thanks for the reply, I got it working, I just created another folder instead of renaming the files, and started using Royal Render for a submitter to the farm
