Hi there!
I really like the style of your character, I think that includes the high bump values :D
Looks like a person from begin 20th century America.
And allow me to say:
Welcome to the board!
Great introduction!
You got some nice stuff in that galery of yours. :bounce:
Hope to see more of your works in the future.

 quality and super ..congratulations ...
Hi radoslaw !
Wow i really like that rendering with the hat, the first one.
I really like the light goes into his right eye, the soft mood of the hat...
I'm your fan :) I find that you have a very sensitive style, all made of sweet tints, gracious shapes ... i lovvve it.
Do you plan to use that character for a short or something ? It could be so gorgeous...
Thanks a lot, and I hope to hear from you soon.

howdy!
very nice work!
Question:
i noticed that you're using lw with a fairly low-res sds mesh.
thing is, with lw res sds meshes, lw has a tendency to distort the uv map.... (an aspect of that issue has been addressed with 7.5 but the issue still remains)
are you mapping with uvs or with legacy projections?
and if you're mapping with uv's would you post your uv map image?
thanks and very nice work.

Amazing work, I guess it boils down to talent and not what 3d package is used.

the more surreal work on your website is what i am commenting on.
it has inspired me and given me much needed impetus to continue to develop my own art .... thank you. every now and then i become bogged down in the tediousness of the modeling process. there's something about the polish artists, you seem to have a great sense of the surreal, something i am inspired to pursue also.
and i notice you are a lightwave user, i'm always impressed by the quality of its renderer.
radoslaw,
your work is amazing. I like the work and design on your website too.
If you have time, I hope you'll put up a tutorial section on your site if you don't mind sharing your great skills

That is a very well done model!
What is it with Poland that makes for so many fantastic artists and animators!?!?
Is there a school there that is emparting such artistic discipline on you? Is it the water?
Have you done any animation setup with the character? Do you animate? I think that your character looks exceptionaly well suited for animation setup (hard to tell about the face in the wire frame but I am guessing it flows as well as the rest of the model)
Keep up the amazing work!

I agree Anders. There seem to be lots of highly talented people from Poland!
@radoslaw, great work!
I just want to ask if you've seen this:

I'd love to see your model rendered with some SSS!! :xtreme:

hello fellow polonian :)
very nice work:)
the only crits i got is that the specularity seems a bit too harsh in some areas and the bump a bit too high.
but overall very good stuff.

:wip: Yepp, great work. Your'e da man! Very cool model. Not too sure about the procedural texture for the hat, but then again, I know it's a procedural, my ma' would never be able to tell. (Can't belive I'm mentioning ma' in this thread).
I was also wondering about using triangled polygons, it would be best not to do it, but I've tried getting rid of them myself and it
seems there is no way around the problem.
Anyway, great work.

I'd agree, very interseting to see a combo method that really worked out well!
Looking foward to more posts :) Is this prime for animating ? (or any animation?) He just exudes personality. I assume you have some kind of scene planned for him anyway. ;)
see you,

You've heard it a million times by now, but your work is really good. Your textures look great and the wireframe is super clean. Some of the edges could be reworked around the leg area for smoother deformations, but seriously great work.

Just try to work at the texture of the ears.
