I have a full kitchen modeled and before I get around to lighting it, which renderer is better for interiors? I'm going for a photo-realistic look.

From what I've seen in many galleries, Brazil seems to be the photo-realists weapon of choice.

they are all good. depends on what you want to spend your cash on, light tracer is standard in max 5, and mental ray will be comming with max 6.0, but its about £2000 and brazil costs too.
but they are all good, but take a while to learn as with anything.
i use max 5.0 radiosity eith regathering, that works well and is designed for interiors, light tracer will work but is most commenly used for exteriors.
