I'm struggling with what seems to be the most simple task.. I have an almost black and white output from a material_x node which looks black where it is getting self shadowed or recieving a shadow. I also have a solid color from elsewhere and I'm trying to get this solid color as the RGB and the black and white output from the material_x as my alpha. I've tried using the picker node for all channels and then putting them into a RGBA combine but my material_x red channel (for example) just will not convert properly.. what am I missing? Cheers..
