Looking for a 3d model of a dime (coin) or a hi Res image of one, the image should be flat for tecture mapping. Any help welcome =) Thanks!!

Google was the first I checked. But it should be high res and equal look front and back!!

sanner or digital camera? shouldn't be that hard to make one yourself no?

Thats what I tryed. The scan is black because of the chrome. And the Digital camera i have can't get the closeup. the macro sucks on my camera!! I found some stock images but they are to expensive!!

Unfortunately my current digicam doesn't have near the macro performance of the old one.

You should paint your dime with some flat white paint and try scanning it again.

Another option I suspose would be to take a rubbing of the coin and scan that. Depends on how good you are at taking rubbings and what the relief on the dime is like.

(Note: I haven't tried this)

The man is Franklin Delano Roosevelt, US prez during the depression and WWII. He started what became the March of Dimes, a nonprofit group dedicated to eliminating polio. In 1946 he was put on the dime as a memorial...

couldn't this be classed as counterfeiting?
from a purely legal standpoint you understand...i mean if it was notes...you gonna get locked up for sure...as for dimes...well i guess they are ten a penny!...erh dime...:blush:
