View Full Version : Objects does not show up in render
blackheart99999 10-28-2010, 09:10 AM Hi !
I'm creating an effect where a text is blown away by the collision of an invisible object, then a new text takes the place of it.
When I preview it, everything is perfectly fine... But while rendering, the new text does not appear at all !!
Please help.
Thank you in advance.

Hard to tell without the scene file. It might just be incorrectly set visibility

You can attach it as a zip file in your post or your new reply

Umm... it says server busy...
Well, I've uploaded it here: http://www.easy-share.com/1912783018/ticking.c4d
At about 90f the text explodes and the new one scales up.
But doesn't show up when rendered.
I'm rendering frame 98 and can see the white text jsut fine in the PV

well, its still not visible in my cinema 11.5.....:surprised
May be there is something wrong in my render settings ?
cause when i render interlaced, upper field first.... then it shows up.

Hello mate,
Just simply make Text object editable using top left icon or shortcut C and job done...

He he :)...no probs mate..
Sometimes we just get blind and can"t see obvious things digging to deep to sort out the problem, aren't we?:)..
I'm just wondering how the collegue Srek from above did make it work on his computer?
I'm not trying to be sarcastic at all, Im just thinking if there is maybe any other way as well to do it, ie. like you sugest - render settings...hmmm...?
Cheers
Larry
