Hi guys,
I just wanted to share the model/rig I've made for Maya 2011 (sorry, I don't think it'll work with 2010 even if I provide ascii, it's been tested).
I'd love some feedback on the rig; what you'd like added, what needs to be fixed (been thoroughly tested, shouldn't break), and what needs changing.
Version 2 will have a library of clothes, if you like the character, feel free to request a set of items for him to wear that suits your animations. I have free time in the evenings and am happy to help people out.
Also feel free to modify it in anyway you wish, long as credit is given.
Speaking of giving credit, the model's proportions are based off of a free blender rig, unfortunately I do not know the name of it, but it was a squirrel.
Non-commercial use only.
If you'd like to use this model, but you need something it doesn't currently have, just ask, and don't forget to post your animations :)
--And don't forget -- reference the file in so it can be updated! Very important.
Feature list:
- Osipa based facial setup
- IK/FK spine
- Squash/stretch spine
- Stretchy arms/legs with on/off switches
- IK/FK blending
- Global scale (and move/rotate)
- Low poly proxy for animation

This screenshot has the low poly proxy mesh showing and not the real body. Thank you for looking.
