Job Title: Tech Runner
Department: Technology
Location: Singapore
Reports To: CTO
Company Background:
Double Negative is a leading provider of visual effects for film employing 800 people world-wide. Recent projects include Inception, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World and we are currently in production on a number of films including Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows and John Carter of Mars.
We are looking for enthusiastic and capable individuals to join us in our expanding Singapore studio.
Key Purpose of the Job
Assisting the Technology Department in supporting the production staff.
Needs To Do
Render Wrangling: supporting the designers as they feed their work through the distributed rendering system.
Workstation Support: directly supporting the designers in the facility
Image Quality Control: monitor calibrations, projector calibrations, maintaining viewing environments etc
Misc: generally helping the Technology Department with their day to day tasks
