Hi,
I'm new to 3D modeling and am wondering if there are any pointers for best way to model this column decoration? It's round but the top is straight. I did each piece but then connecting is a pain. Wondering if better way...

Profile - extrude. I'd make it by moving vertexes, by use blueprint (side view).
