It looks as though it's coming along rather well. Although a bit man-ish... that is if the character is in fact a women. That's not ment to be offensive. I'd like to see a different texture on the hood... it seems that you've only used the smudge tool. Better then I could do... just keep it up and it'll be perfect.

yes its just a quick sketch working on my drawing skills. I am working on one now thats going to be much tighter.

is that based off the updated portrait of the Afghani girl that was on the the cover of National Geographic?

it looks good, but i'm not sure the shadow across the upper face is deep enough, but that might just be my wonky eye.
