That's pretty amazing. One of the coolest best batman's I have ever seen. Wish he was in a more dynamic pose but maybe that's for another time. Really great job I just love it!

Basically, I modeled all my basemeshes in 3DSmax, then, import them into zbrush for sculpting. The basemeshes are quite simple, so I have to create all the shapes into zbrush.

There is so much awsam-ness to this! Great work!
What kind of light setup and materials are you using! Good luck in the comp!
I dont own a Toolbag license, so if I remember, I used the skin shader for all the head and body parts. There are like 7 or 8 lights. Basically, 4 mains lights (key+fill+2x rim) and 3 or 4 special lights to highlights some parts. http://www.8monkeylabs.com/tech/toolbag

Awesome piece and great work with the details. The old and somewhat rough look of 'The Bat' makes me re-imagine a cool and dirty futuristic Gotham city setting. And by making him blind adds just a little more awesomeness and story potential. Excellent work!

I like the interpretation very much. He does not look like the softy Batman that we have been shown in the movies.
Is it me or does he look a little bit like Mel Gibson?

BTW: If I well remember, Batman was a blind lawyer in the comics I read when I was a child. So this is for me the real interpretation.

That was one of Marvel's characters, Daredevil, a.k.a Matthew Murdoch, Attorney.
