View Full Version : Waving Flag in Vue xStream

Trying to finish a piece for my portfolio...

I would like to create a flag that waves in the wind in Vue. Is this even possible. I know trees are affected by the wind. It's easy enough to create a flag that waves by the wind in Maya. Is there a way to import that effect/animation into Vue, or would I be better of to integrate my Vue scene into Maya and try my luck there?

Not realistically with Vue's tools. Your best bet is to either render the whole thing in Maya (if you have xStream), or just the flag in Maya and compositing it in an editor.
