Hello,

This is my first matte painting /compositing reel.
I would love to hear some critics & comments by other matte painters.

Thanks molman,

I am glad that you liked it. Here at Conspiração's Compositing department we don't actually have too much time to get into 3D projections so most of the matte paintings are created in PHOTOSHOP and then composited in FLAME as 3d cards.

Here is an example of how we create the scene in FLAME. In these shots I did the matte painting and the scene setup in flame. The 3d guys created the animated trees and the compositing was made by Ronaldo Pucci.

The guys from the 3D department gets all the more complex environments. As the TEST LABORATORY in the "Mitsubishi - Dakar" commercial.
