Wow, really nice concept. I love how you did the spiraling layers of fur.
Some suggestions are that she looks a bit off balance, and the very large feet and hands take away from the feminine look (her right hand is also larger than her left). Maybe like this? The hands could use a little more work.
I'll be honest I'm not a fan of the WoW-like poses where one hand is holding a staff and the other is conjuring a magical flame, I think they are pretty cliche and silly looking...I made the staff tip resting on the ground so as to make that look a little more natural.
Keep it up and I look forward to seeing the progression into digital

I like her large feet.....
Thank for the suggestions, I was looking at what i needed to do, I have a night job so most of the time i do a lot of my sketches so i won't fall asleep.
The hands I will fix when i put in ps I went through so many arm poses it is unreal.
Yea i hate alot of the poses that people do that deal with conjuring but when i look at it i hate having a hand just sit there idle. The hand is also darker b/c i killed the paper trying different things that i just put that and when happy i just left it.
It's been a while that I fully posed something and threw things together that wasn't an idea that most people have like taking characters from other known sources i.e. anime characters or comic book characters. So with this i got all excited and was just throwing things in there to make look pretty.
I thought of bringing the staff down I might try both ways when i scan and work on it in ps.
The pose....hmmm, not sure its one of the things i have to contemplate about.
Overall I am pretty happy but since i have military this weekend I have to wait to do anything on the compy. More Sketching while away.
I will be at drill if anyone wants any photos from the unit i will take some, maybe i will scour around for something cool to take pics of and post it for stock purposes.
