:D haahaa, hi, i'v no idea ... what r u talkin' about?! maybe
you point @ some tv series or comic books, or anim series! :)
it came out from my mind with inspiration from some '60, '70
sport car such as shelby cobra, corrvett & jaguar.

cool
I think you should add a little fresnel effect to the reflection channel of the plate it's standing on.
On to animating... ;)

hi sherban
well @first thank you for your comment...
then, i don't know the meaning of "Frensel", also i couldn't find
it in dictionary, would u explaine that to me what i should do
to the 'plate below'?! maybe you mean the frensel method
in the falloff map?
& about animating!, i think there is nothing interesting in animation
of a car! :) haha, just my opinion...NFS 5 does the best!

I absolutely love it. Its perfect.
One thing though, it says turbo on the plague.
Whats on the car is a blower not a turbo. hehe( the big thing out of the hood ).
My question to you is, how did you setup the reflections? Im currently finishing up a car as well. What i did was stuck a white plane above the car for it to reflect.

yes it is not turbo charger, it's super charger & i was wrong,
eightdecay corrected me but it was too late!
i used the same technique, white wide plane over the car &
a %50 raytraced reflective material , a key light & a fill light.

i really love the style of your car...
but to put it in the environment that you choose doesn't seem to fit. and if you were going to use any depth of field or camera blurring tricks in any image it should be the that one (the one with the rocky environment.)
anyway...i really like the car.

i think the tarrain looks too CG, thats why i dont like it, but if you put gently rolling hills, and a wavey road zigzagging, that would make it look nice....hope you understand what i meant

Wow! What a great car! Shows real imagination. I especially like the inset back window ala corvette stingray. I love the paint effect, could you explain how you did that, or post a link to a tutorial?:buttrock:

the body paint is really simple
just a standard material with a solid diffuse color + a %60
raytraced reflection! & + a wide white plane over the body...
the whole modeling & lighting took about 3 days.
