The texture of the reptile is excellent. My only crits are the hind legs seem to just be hanging there. Also, the last appendage on the right hand seems to be missing? I don't know if it's just the way I'm seeing it or not, but I just can't see it.

The thing that throws it off for me is the blurring on the sides.. they partly, in theory, sit at the same depth as the lizard yet they are blurred...

Otherwise nice job.

Hey, just a few comments..

nice texturing.. where'd you get refrence from?

The mouth seems a little froggish, because reptiles' mouths usually have sharper edges and the top lip comes down over the bottom one.

Also, the shoulder appears to not be aligned properly... like, the arm goes into the lizard's chest instead of its shoulder, up more.

Otherwise, very neat. I'm a reptile guy, and i think yours is rad.

rock on.. :buttrock:

How about a hard light coming from the back to light up the edges of the reptile? I think that would give it a bit more depth.

The stone texture could be more mineral.
The reptil's skin looks so dry! Just a small little specular could make your picture more real.
Keep on. Some little changes can make a the difference!

agree. the stone looks like well.. not like stone.. its not only the texture but also to geometry.. perhaps use more sharp edges, or try to modell the structure of the stone and not only randomly make smooth hills ... rest is great!
keep on the cool work
