What does he do here? He fillets the indicator of the inside, for the love of me i couldn't get that. I tried and tried. but nada.

Ok, he just uses circular fillet tool again. Here is how he did it. He created a curve and instead of just trimming the surface with it, he extruded that curve (surface/extrude/ distance) so the two surfaces intersect, and then he used circular fillet to create a fillet between the two surfaces. This is confusing, damn it. First time i started following that tut, i didnt get it, then i quit and decided to make my own car. I suggggest u do the same, and all this "NURBS" thing will soon be easy for you. Im making a tutorial right now, its on nurbs too, but its a mercedes benz car. Ill try to explain all this confusing stuff in there, u just hold on to it. And if u still want to follow Mike's tutorial, remember that you will get a lot of spaces between ur fillets and surfaces, which usually is a bad thing, but thats just how nurbs work. And try not to use trim tool too much, sometimes u dont have to use it in places such as the hood, or the roof, where you can just add an isoparm at the edge and drag ur last hull down a bit to create a bevel, i wish i knew that before i started my car. Good luck with that, and thanks a lot for replying to my threads.

cheers vertexStudios, i want to finish my car for my demo-reel which unfortunately is due very soon. I am making a BMW z3, nearly finished, except for minor details like that.
I understand Nurbs pretty well...i think, but i hate it when i can't replicate results in tuts that they claim as easy.

I did exactly as the tut says, and as you mentioned, i even tried in different test scenes but couldn't cap the surface.
Anyway i'll try again, hopefully your tutorial will help. Thanks for the reply.
