View Full Version : Selecting an individual edge of an object using C++
yellowFattyBean 10-11-2010, 08:43 AM Hi
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to select an individual edge of an object (2D plane), possibly using MSelectionList?
Thanks

Your question is a little vague. The only 2D planes I can think of in Maya are 2D nurbs planes defined in trim space of a 3D nurbs surface. AFAIK, there is no way to select isoparms from the API. Do you mean the 3D plane/sketchPlane nodes? Or something else entirely? You might find the forum a little more helpful if you define exactly what 'object' is.... ;)

Hi, thanks for the roeply.
I've been advised by my tutor that theres a little more learning to be done on my part before I attempt anything that I've mentioned. Perhaps I'm jumping the gun a little!
