View Full Version : bonus tools not working in 2011.5 (advantage pack)

Why is bonus tools not coming up in 2011.5???
I actually installed maya2011.5 in a programfile\autodesk\maya2011 directory (after uninstalling 2011) I DON'T want 2 2011 mayas.. and my 2011.5 works just great out of the 2011 directory (all plugins i had in 2011 ie maxwell,TSM,etc work.. but NO BONUS TOOLS menu..
I can load bonus tools plugins (ie:3ds importer) fine if i manually goto browse in maya's load plugin window and point it to a plugin in the bonus tools directory.. but I don't get bonus tools menu!!!
How can I get bonus tools to work properly in 2011.5?

In the My Documents/maya/2011.5-x64 folder there should be a blank maya.env file

I placed these two lines in and it loads bonustools in 2011.5

MAYA_SCRIPT_PATH = C:\Program Files\Autodesk\MayaBonusTools2011\scripts\
MAYA_PLUG_IN_PATH = C:\Program Files\Autodesk\MayaBonusTools2011\plug-ins
