View Full Version : Edit verts on multiple blendshapes at once?

I have a fully rigged model with about 10 blendshapes. I was wondering if there was a way to edit the blendshapes along with the original model at once. I need to change a few verts but once I use the face controls it of course goes back to the blendshapes. I there a way to do this within maya? It would save me alot of time!

you can propagate tweaks to all your blendshapes.
Make tweaks on the original mesh and go to:
Edit deformers - blendshapes - bake topology to targets
this even works if you make topology changes to your original mesh.

I am having some issues. I edited the original mesh, i really just moved some vertices around. Now what do I do? What do I select?

I'd add another BlendShape Target where I would make the tweaks. Bake Topology is not suitable for vertex tweaks; those are not topology changes. Use it if you add or delete and edge or something like that.
