Some probably do.
But from what I've read, CGtalk used to have a Houdini forum earlier but closed it because of little traffic. Like now... :D

od[force] (http://forums.odforce.net/) is a bit more active. ;)

I think it's put here just to shut up the people who keep asking why there isn't a Houdini forum on CGTalk. Of course, by virtue of putting it here, it guarantees that there will be no traffic.

If we don't use it, then some will say, "see, no need for a Houdini forum". If we do use it, then some will say, "see, it is working just fine as it is". Not sure what the tipping point will be. Certainly the other Houdini forums have been getting busier as a result of no forum here.

We Houdini users luckily have an excellent mailing-list and the od[forum]. (In the past there were some other forums also, like the one of Roberto Lemus' Visual Paradigms.)

Wow this place feel very hidden :).

I think people should post work with Houdini and share tutorials here, rather than hope to have a questioned answered.

Sadly this forum is dead  we should do something to spice this place up.

I just noticed this existed. Most Houdini people just post on odforce or the sidefx forums, so it's pretty much useless to have a section here.
