dudes !!!
this is a problem i face with 3dmax too :(
ok i got two key frames.
1)ball position on top
2)ball down on ground
problem...i adjust my tangents in the graph editor for ease in or out but then i start to loose controll of the direction/slope of the bounce.
how do adjust the speed between keys(acceleration/decelleration) without compromising on the path my bounce is following ??? are there any scripts that do this...
...var'is sven :)

im not sure i am in total understanding of your problem, but you might want to try selecting the curve and going to the tangents/curves-> use weighted tangents.
then you can use the break tangent weights button in the top of the window...this way you can extend the "ark" of the curve by adjusting the weight of the handle.

dude...thats exhactly what i mean. when dealing with tangents, normal or weighted if i manupilate them then my trajectorie or path resembles the curve in the graph editor...i dont want to disturb the direction/position my ball(hehe) is travelling in just want to be abel to controll the acceleration
for eg when it's coming from position...i'll post a pic of what i mean.
thanks any way

then you might want to try using "set breakdown keys"

put one in the middle and then move your original keys sooner or later in time, but your curve will be the same. only it will be a little more scaled.

ok dude...that seams like a doable solution...will try'n tell.
thanks for the effort.
