CGTalk - Crack in an egg

Does anybody know how to make an egg crack and then make the pieces fall down on the ground????

Build egg.
Break up pieces on a polygonal level (of a copy).
Use Solidify to create some nice thickness.
Use Reactor to drop the pieces.
