Hi! This is another picture I did in XSI for learning sub-d modelling.

very nice :applause: I would love to see it textured! It would be great if you could pick up the translucency and softness of a babies skin. It sure is nice to see some XSI stuff!! Keep up the good work.

Great model and I agree that is a cool expression. button I think to make it more realistic you need a smile crease down the side of the cheak and also try to place a little ridge where the nose holes are so wi dont so the geometry inside the nose. Inface try to point the nostrils more in to the head and make them depper at the start.

yes there is something about this face that makes it very appealing. well you could work on details abit more and correct the nostrils lil issue but otherall its very good.

BTW Kris, I find it nearly next to impossible to simulate realistic baby skin. However, I hope I'll find some time to experiment a little more. I'll post that over at WIP !

that is so good... i love your rendering... add some tiny pores to the skin, maybe it would add some realism to the pic... but REALLY REALLY REALLY TINY... remember that the more you grow, the more your pores appears to be bigger... so i think you could make some little tiny holes! that would be cool... but it's your baby, you're the boss :thumbsup:
