Below is an early wip of a character I am designing for a game. As you can see I am in the early stages of colouring her.

Just thought I would get some feedback before I spend loads more time on her.

Ta!

I really like the design of her. The only thing that i might suggest to keep with the style of her pants, is to do maybe one to two little slits on the side of her ribs of her shirt (does that make sense). it would be a neat design to add the one slit on the side at least. Hopefully that helps.

Thats a good idea, thanks! I am currently reworking her face as, to me, she seems a bit too cartoony...

Yeah, nice and clean, I wouldnt call it a killa Concept but it is very clean and solid.

The only thing that bothers me and the flow of the pic is her fat nose. Please change that :)

Cheers guys, first off her name is Kila. Its not a "Killa Concept" ;) I have refined her face, made her eyes and nose smaller plus, and this is part of the brief, she will have tatoos...

I will post another pic soon to show my progress.

the upperarms are often thicker than the lowerarms! Other than that it looks good, though she lacks character IMO especially for a game.

What are she gonna do? Adventurer? or just random model?

Looks good though, I like your proportions and style!

I agree Monkey, there is nothing necessarily wrong with it, but it looks like generic female character #203.

Also it reminds me of the girl from Advent Rising ( http://www.gamespy.com/e32003/image.asp?platform=PC&genre=Action&image=http://www.gamespy.com/e32003/screens/multiplatform/adventrising2/Marin.jpg )

The colours you choose remind me of the 80s though, hehehe.

I think its a great looking character, very well presented with a few original little fashion ideas in there like the diamond cut pants suspended by the chain belt.

On the point of generic'ness I think that is a fair comment but when you are modelling realistic human characters for games I'm not so sure that its that easy to achieve this uniqueness anymore as the characters become representitive of actors, I find little difference in quality between this character and Lara Croft for example, the real trick will be in character building within the presentation and the final game (if there is one :) ).

Sorry I don't want to turn this thread into a discussion :) very nice concept and I think the 3D will be great if its accurate.
