View Full Version : Portal light and sun intensity

Hey guys,

i've got a mr sun sky setup with one portal light. On the sun/sky there are no special adjustments, but on the portal light i have a multiplier of 40, the mr sky as environment.
On my camera there is a mia exposure photographic with some tweaks...

Everything is fine so far, but: my sun is not that intense enough like I would like it to be....

I tried cranking up the sun/sky multiplier, but it gave me not the desired results...

Anybody out there who has some ideas how to get it right??

Cheers!

Dominik

Have you increase your sun's intensity itself? In the sun's directional light attributes?

Yes, i doubled it, but nothing happened - strange things are going on :argh:

Hmm, are you working linearly? Perhaps post the render and it may help analyze your scene?

Yes, i am working linearly. unfortunately I can't post the render currently,
because of security reasons.

but thanks for your efforts!

Have you tried the PhysicalSky multiplier itself? It is appearing to work for me. I'll check again though in a blank scene, when I get a moment.

Yes, i tried that, but i had to lower the multiplier of the portal light correspondent (makes sense :D ) )
But all the balancing was annoying to me, so i think with a multiplier of 2 in the sky and a little more tweaking of the portal, it should work for that piece!

Thanks InfernalDarkness for contributing

Cheers!
