HI,
I have a problem when I'm saving my scene with a lot of textures. When saving max tend to save the file pretty quickly, but then it won't give me back the hand right away and instead it's doing some stuffs on my hard drive ( I know that because I can hear my hard drive swapping files or someting like crazy ) . It can be pretty long some time. So what I do is kill 3DSmax and restart it.
Anyone knows how to solve this ?
Or where the problem is coming from ?
I'm running 3DSMAX 5.1 SP1 on WINDOWS 2000.
my computer is a P4 2.4 with 1go of RAM
graphics card is RADEON 9800 PRO
I have 4 HD ( 15GO, 45 GO, 60GO, 120GO).
the system is on the 15GO HD
my working files (the 3D one) are on the 45GO
and the pagefile.sys file of win2000 is located on the 120GO.
