Hey everyone.

I have now been going back and forth in search for controling Volume lights the way i want.

I have a texture that i want to shoot volume light thru to create lightstreaks

My problem is that i cannot control the decay as i want.
A small distance above the texture wich lets the light thru i want the decay to kick in and the light intensity to decrease pretty fast.

however this seems impossible to do correctly.
I have tried using decay regions without any luck.
Switching to quadratic och cubic lighting and increasing the intensity of the light. but since i want the light to be very intense right were the texture is i need to increase the intensity so much that the decay comes waaay over it.

also tested to use a mib_light_spot to set were the decay should start. however doing that makes the decay to start and end in a circular way, since the spotlights coneangle is just angled.

moving the spotlight very far down, scaling it up and taking the coneangle down doesnt help either. it kills the light even thou i up the intensity to several millions.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

Really frustrating!
