View Full Version : Importing models from Sketchup into Max

Does anyone have a way to do this, im open to every and any idea, or maybe a way to import it directly into UDK

If you have the Sketch Up pro version it can export to .3ds files, and probably .mb and other 3d software packages. Just go to export - choose .3ds or whatever file type you want, and click Export. This is only exporting to other 3d softwares, but exporting into UDK, i cannot help :)

I *think* .ase is supported by UDK for static objects, no idea if sketchup has export for it tho.

Depending on your version of 3ds Max software, I'd say the answer is yes... here is a link to the Sketch Up importer:

The website says it's free for non-commercial use only.
