It is being especulated that 3D Labs and Apple are having talks about making some of their cards available for the Mac.

you know what wildcats blow. i have one paid $25000000000000000000000000000000000 and i cant play freaking pacman on it. Sure its great for maya BUT it sucks for EVERYTHING else. buy NVIDIA

yeah...but if they make Wildcats for Mac..Theres a better chance for workstation boards from Nvidia and ATI....

Not a WildcatVP then? *thwonk* Bad consumer for buying an OpenGL only card then complaining when it doesn't play Direct3D games. Next you'll be complaining that nVidia's Maxtreme drivers don't make Max Payne go any faster.
Of course, now all they have to do is provide Linux drivers up-front instead of pushing all the work onto the XFree86 Project or expecting consumers to buy drivers from third parties (I mean, c'mon, $89 just to get overlay planes support?).
