View Full Version : Interface: Strange shading problem
Daagar 10-02-2003, 12:51 AM In my Smooth+Highlighted perspective view, I'm getting odd shading... on what should be a 'plane', for example, it is getting shaded with what appear to be additional triangles (this is an editable poly, so not the kind of triangles that appear with a mesh). What did I do to cause this? The geometry seems to be okay, and the rendered output looks fine, but the perspective view looks like this at various angles. A little disconcerting. I botched getting a small enough screenshot to attach, but will attach one tonight if no one knows my problem right off the top of their head. Thanks.

Maybe you are using directX with the option "Display all triangle Edge" activated.

Thanks, but unfortunately, no. It doesn't seem to be triangulation from actual geometry, but almost like looking through glass with some odd refraction artifacting. A screen shot should make it more clear....
EDIT: As well, I'm in OpenGL mode.
