CGTalk - Cyberpunk Animation

I only made my first character (that actually resembles something) about a month ago, before that it was all stupid noise modifiers, poser characters and pretty colours at deviantart. Anyway i finaly realised how stupid this new art craze of "3d abstract art" or "I'm stupid and only know how to use the noise modifier" art is. I wasn't a "noise modifier freak" i did alot of photo manipulation which aided me when coming over to do textures for 3d stuff. anyway enough of the back ground crap and onto the picture, I just said that so you where not shocked when u didn't get a broadway production, here is a pic of the cyberpunk style animation i'm trying to create, sure the background/buildings are crap, sure that girl in there is heaps ugly and sure the poses the characters are in are odd and slightly unatural, but i'm working on it, just wanted a bit of feedback from where i currently stand, keeping in mind how long i've actually been using max.
