$400 later, I managed to get this guy finished in time for an aussie dev site competition.. -- www.sumea.com.au

My aim was to make something weird and impossible. 3414 polies. (max was 3500)

Really like the idea.. the textures though seem a little flat and undetailed.. especially the neck.
