View Full Version : Hexcore and Quadro 4000

Thinking about building a new workstation based on one of the hexcore processors and the quadro 4000, with 24gb of ram. Anyone seen a good build? I think I'd like to use a coolmaster case and try to get it as silent as possible. Basically I just want a good solid 3d machine / photoshop which won't start balking if I open a lot of files at once. 8gb just doesn't cut it.

Quadro 4000 is a superb choice and offers the best price/performance of the new Quadro Fermi cards by a long way.

Intel 6 Core CPUs also offer a good sweet spot, and the fastest clock speeds suite PS very well.
