View Full Version : Dpkit part move: how to rotate randomly?
earwax69 09-09-2010, 05:37 AM Hi, im using Dpkit nodes to displace a lots of small squares. I can distribute them randomely in space by connecting a noise image to the "position" but I cannot rotate them individually by using the same image. They are all rotating with the same value.
Any idea how to rotatore each square randomly??
thanks

I just put 3D Turbulence node Bump vector to DPKit Part Move Rotate, and all polygons have different rotations..

Yes! It did it. I was using the color vector... the bump work best. Thanks a lot!
Do you know if there is a way to control the opacity of each parts?

You mean transparency?
In Surface Editor, use Part Info index, to drive Gradient or position of Turbulence node, or Image, and output plug to Transparency channel in Surface root node.
