Nice start, but I think the face needs a lot of help. Right now it looks more like melted plastic than an actual face(even a cartoon one). Try and build the structure up in the face, and fix the mouth so it not just a a cavity in his head. Then use what you learned doing the head and apply it to the rest of the body. Spend some time on this then post again!
