OK here,

I'm going to model a robox & set it up for animation as well.

But how would I go about making this robox rotate each joint without distorting the robox itself, like the arms & legs I don't want them to bend like organic surface?

Hey thanks DeathBrain. :)

I don't come here much because I can't get a image any bigger then above?

How do I fixs this? How would I make the right size in photoshop 7, as it says here no bigger then 20000 bytes. I don't see bytes anyway in photoshop!

Over at CGchat I just make my image 800 x 600, and it works evertime. Here I can only get as little as 50 x 30?

For me:

I all my image size are done in (pixels dimensions)

Also below that is (Document Size) with the following > percent, inches, cm, mm, points, picas, columns.

And below that is (resolution) with the following > pixels/inch, pixels/cm.

But no bytes? Where do I find this bytes, is there another language for it?

Thanks in advance for any halp on this.

Not sure what you're asking exactly, but I'm guessing you're saying that you want to use bones, but don't want to skin the character... in which case you'll just have to parent the peices to the bones, and maybe use a constraint or two.

Is that what you're asking?

Hum...

So if I don't skin it, then how do I bind the object to skeleton?

P.S. sorry if I suond retarded. But i'm kinda new to 3d. :curious:

Don't forget... the F1 key is your friend. ;)

To get the rig working correctly, you'll probably also going to need to use some aim constraints with the hydrolics, or some simple expressions. The helpfiles have some great samples in there in order to get comfortable with both.
