And here is the result, which I think looks rather cool, the inspiration came from a good friends telephone which is basically the bat phone from the old batman series.

Anyway I decided to give mine more of a vintage looks for the render. It was modeled in Cinema 4D release 11 and the textures were made in Photoshop. The second rendered image I made a few tweaks to the colour adjustments in Photoshop.

This detailed Cinema 4D model will be available to purchase for a very reasonable price quite soon!

Looks nice overall... the way the cable sticks out straight coming out of the receiver seems a bit off, but perhaps it is true to your reference.
