I have seen someone do a series of water color paintings using paint fx I think but using maya for sure does anyone know how? for some of my architecural models I want to use a water color effect and not realizism.

Hi,

This link to a water color shader may work for you.
water color shader v 0.9 (http://www.highend3d.com/maya/shaders/)
Then go down the list cause it's so long and choose watercolor shader v0.9.
