First of all let me say that our site contains only what I know of or what was sent to me. So if anybody has anything they've done that is related to our site (SCIFI, TV/FILM, etc.) drop me an email. It's amazing how much stuff is out there that people don't share. We'll put it on SCIFI 3D so the whole community will know about it and you'll get a little self-promotion.

Second.. let me note that we are doing an in-house Star Wars project. So in case there are folks who have always wanted to do their fav. scene in 3D, or want to just help in any other way.. drop me a line. We'll find a place for you if you want to participate. We're kinda in the end of production, though there is still plenty to model, so what we need are texturers and animators. Here's some of the projects that we're doing that need help:

Coruscant Spaceport (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=83252)

ATTE needs textures (http://scifi3d.theforce.net/wip_details.asp?intGenreID=10&intCatID=11&key=69)

ISD Bridge (http://forums.scifi-meshes.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=183016#post183016)

Just examples of the things that people are doing that we could use help with. But we're not a SW site. We're fans of all all forms of art, film, etc.

I needed to bumpity bump bump this thread back to the top. We need a few more people to help us out. Our current project is Star Wars based but full of original ideas... environments never seen before... etc. We have an elaborate Pod Race shot that is an original and funny idea... but need help with actually crashing the pods and doing those dynamics with either a simulator or by hand. There are all sorts of things to do. Write us if you'd like to help, work with us just for fun, to learn, or just to get something good for your portfolio.
