View Full Version : xpresso help - iterate two hier for ATS link

Hi everyone, anyone have a second to look at my xpresso setup quick? Not sure what the deal is, I'm trying to read source path objects out of one hierarchy and pass their objects to a another hierarchy of objects which all have align to spline tags. So that I can link up each object's tag with it's associated path, which btw I have about 900sets to link up. For some reason it is linking up all the objects to the first path, except the last object which gets linked to the last path. Was under the impression I could have an absolute reference to the hierarchy, then step down into the hierarchy for the start path, then iterate through the hierarchy with next. Which we do in a lot of other setup's but for some reason it's not liking this setup? Any help? Thanks!

hi, i have no idea why this doesn't work even with the Maximum Iterations set to 10 in the hierarchy-iterators.
but it works with a linklist instead.

Hey sweet thanks! I was noticing something along the same lines this weekend. Can't remember at the moment what it was I was testing, but was using a hierarchy node and the setup wouldn't work, as soon as I dropped everything into an objectList it worked. Seemed odd, but anyways thanks again! That will work for me.
