I've been working on this Photoshop painting of my girlfriend, partly to get the hang of a wacom, partly because I want a bigger / clearer version of the photo I'm using for ref... would appreciate any feedback from some of the more experienced 2D artists out there regarding shading etc... wondering if I should invent some sort of a background?

How about showing the reference for comparisation ?

Right now the mouth area looks a bit blurry.
