View Full Version : discreet official 3ds Max DVD opinion

I'm still learning 3ds Max 5.1 so I have no plans to jump to 6 until I get to grips with 5. That being said, discreet has a 50% off sale on their official training DVDs. I'm wondering if anyone has watch them and if so, were they worth the money you paid?

The DVDs are:

Advanced Character Animation with 3ds Max 5 - Training DVD

Production Workflow Training DVD: Character Studio 4

Advanced Character Modeling with 3ds max 5 - Training DVD

Character Rigging with 3ds Max 5 - Training DVD

3ds Max 5 - Update - Training DVD

I would recommend you head over to 3DBuzz (http://www.3dbuzz.com). They have the best video training on 3ds max I've ever seen before.

What 3ds Max training videos have you seen?

I've seen most all of the 3ds max video tutorials out there. The ones over at 3DBuzz are mostly about modeling but they'll soon come out with some on rigging and particle effects.
