I'm an VFX artist (specializing in modeling) with experience in drawing, painting, modeling and animation.

I'd like to make a collaboration project on animation piece, but I'm not exactly sure where to start. I've been reading books and watching animations... It can't be violence but more toward educated and truth to the life

does anyone have any suggestions or wisdom on this subject?

I especially enjoy the works of Pixar and other big animation studio works

thanks!

There's a collab forum here on CGTalk, the GD forum is not really the best place for this.
Also look for past threads, and you will find plenty links and hints.

Welcome to the pits of the collab forum! Enjoy your stay in oblivion.

Look for softdistortion, that guy has some collabs going on and interchangning.

What kind of collabing are you thinking of?

lewissatini- Would be easier to give some advice after seeing the skill level you have in some of your current work.
=============

CofTsucks- ...hmmm...oblivion.... "the state of being disregarded or forgotten " sad but seemingly true...

...and yet one of our oldest collabs website> SHIROWPROJECT (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=73&t=113779), had most of it's traffic come from the CGT collabs and was peaking over 12,000 hits a day...the archived CGT thread also did well (over 165,659 views) ..the team was frontpaged more than once at CGT, had a gallery page and multiple letter of the month inclusions in 3Dworld, a soft and hardcover team book printed, and shout outs from mods like Roberto. [end collab rant mode] :)

...that and ThE_JacO remembering to deliver the odd lost soul to the gates of hades kinda also makes you take pause. :D

Seriously, I think most people are too shy or ....confused? to actually comment...but they are here taking notice just the same.

PS: thanks for the nod ... always nice to hear someone noticing the effort. :buttrock:
