View Full Version : baking Global Illumination on Vertices
dodgy 05-28-2002, 09:57 AM Any idea how to bake GI to object vertices using MAX and fR? tBake does it using vertex color maps which is storing information on a bitmap but I need to change actual vertex color like it does utility called “Assign Vertex Color” in MAX.

Check out the finalrender support forum. Matt has made a script to do exactly what you are after (its under tips & tricks)
