theartspark 09-27-2003, 10:37 PM This is a picture of one of my favorite characters in the Street Fighter video games, Chun Li. I will start to color her shortly. C&C welcome :)

Comments:
1) Clothing and flow are good.
2) Design appears consistent with that of the character.
3) I am guessing she is "in action", otherwise she seems like she would fall over due to weight distribution.
4) _Her_ right hand seems too big and looks a lot like a man's hand.
5) _Her_ left knee seems significantly skinnier compared to the right.
6) Her faces seems very un-oriental.
7) Strokes are smooth and edges are clean.
8) Her shoulders seem to lack any muscle from the neck to the shoulder itself. Almost like the shoulder, even though shrugged in, it connecting at the top and not at the side of her torsoe.
9) Decent use of forshottening and perspective.
Overall a decent piece. Keep working. = )

Kuragari-Thank you very much for your comments:)
Here's an update of the changes I've made.
changes made:
-yes, she's in action
-Made the right hand smaller
-fattened the left knee
-redrew the indication of the right knee
-shortened the right leg
-tried to make her face look a little less sad,
more like concentrating (hope so anyway)
-lowered the breasts. I intended for the shirt to be
tight on her, I hope that still comes across with the change.

Capcom art is the best isn't it?
For me:
1. The fist hand is too man like, not necessarily too big. Capcom draws their feet and hands oversized, so it's not necessarily wrong. But I ain't holdin' her hand!
2. Her bent leg is coming toward the view and should be a bit bigger. The knee definitely shows this! If you did a selection in PS and enlarged it 10-20% I think you'd be there with the forshortening.
That's about it. *off topic* It always amazes me how un-asian most of the asian-esque art looks. In fact, the more popular japanese game characters seem to have blonde hair and blue eyes. *off topic*
She does look like chun-li to me.

comments: Take care of the stomach part, referred some refrence then u'll notice that athlete female muscle wont hav "tyres"
Her eyes looks like she didnt have enough sleep. A fighter dont have those eyes. Try to refine eyes to "confident" eyes? i mean the feeling.
Take care of right hand as well. And so is her feet, coz she looks like standing in a land that dun have gravity.
4parts.Lookin forward for the refine version. Keep it up.
