you have to look real hard to tall that is an elf... maybe suggestions a more ornate sheath, elves were always ones for decoration, make the ears stick out more perpendicular to the head right now theyre tucked up against the head its kinda hard to tell what they are make the dress more ornate

basicaly add all those lovely little details that jump out and scream ELF

good color scheme. i like the blue tinted highlights.
i have to agree that it's a bit plain though. you're one for detail and you could really go nuts on this one with details on the sheath and dress patterns. also, she looks like she is about to fall to the left. maybe rotate the picture to the right just a bit to create more balance.
